[Seattle Go Center] Kuma Sensei teaches DDK Class tonight Monday, Oct. 5

Dear Go Players,

 

Our visiting pro from the Nihon Ki-in, Kuma Sensei 6P, will be teaching the DDK Class tonight, Monday, starting at 6:30 p.m.  This class is designed for “Double Digit Kyu” players (those weaker than 9 kyu), but it will be useful for stronger kyu players as well.  The class will be taught in English.  Since this is part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration, the event is free.

 

We also have some leftover food to share from the anniversary party - Korean barbeque (beef bulgogi and pork bulgogi)  and Middle Eastern vegetarian dishes.

 

The Go Center will be open by 5:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, Oct. 5.

[Seattle Go Center] Kuma Sensei Lecture at 2 on Sunday, Oct. 4 Free!

Dear Go Players,

As part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration, Kuma Sensei 6P will be doing reviews of games tomorrow, starting at 2 pm. Bring a game for his review. We have leftovers to share as well. At 4:30 he will be playing simultaneous games. All the places are taken, but you can still watch!

[Seattle Go Center] Parking Report

Dear Members,

AS expected, parking is very tight near the Go Center. We are reserving the lower lot for handicapped, food deliveries, chair deliveries, and the Japanese Consul.

The upper lot is almost full. A few cars may leave after the tournament.

The diamond lot across the street is your best bet. This is paid parking - you need a credit card to pay. $5 for 4 hours. Note: you have to take three cross walks.

The diamond lot across from the Cinema was full a half hour. But it may open up when a movie lets out.
