Hey folks,
Tomorrow I'll be back to host another SDK workshop. I would like to review a recent pro game between Kim Jiseok and Ke Jie, the current 3rd and 2nd ranked players in the world respectively.
This game has a very straightforward story and intelligible moves. Early on, it's solid territory versus giant moyo. Later, it's an exercise in using aji.
After the review, we'll have time for games. Hope to see you all tomorrow!

[Seattle Go Center] Yearly Membership Meeting Sunday, April 15, 2 p.m.
Dear Go Center Members,
Our annual Membership Meeting will be Sunday, April 15, at 2 p.m., at the Seattle Go Center. We will have a slide show, discussion, and some treats. The one hour meeting will review the last year, and elect three board members. All Go Center members, including new members, are welcome at the meeting. Voting is limited to those who have quarterly, annual or lifetime memberships.
If you are a voting member who cannot come to the meeting, please give your proxy to somebody else who will be attending. This can be done by email or by written notice.

Greetings Go Fans!
-- I'll be returning to teaching tomorrow from my spring break and will continue our series of looking at the evolution of Go through history. Some of you may feel like looking at strong play from the past is no longer relevant in the age of AlphaGo, but I assure you it is not. Many of these games showcase extremely strong reading ability, intuition, and attention to shape. I know that I am always enamored with how our Go ancestors make good shape, even in tough situations.
I hope you will come join me in learning from our past masters!
