Re: [ORE] Power question

The orb will hurt targets in any way you want if you design and buy it that way. Don't sweat the logic. You can build flaming, exploding orbs if you want to. Just decide what your orbs should do and build your attack power.

Do you want to be able to use the orb to attack and defend at the same time? Can you literally only build one orb and have to use it for only one application at a time?

What do you want it to do when it is being useful? Do you stay inside of it and fly around? Is it a sealed life-support system?

I've had some excellent help in regards to powers questions, but I'm still looking for more input.  I've got just over 75 points to use in building a force field based power. The force field would be orb shaped and of various sizes...I'd like to throw it like a baseball as an attack and also would like to use it in my defense and possible useful use as well.
To use it as a ranged attack would it not have to have weight behind it to hurt anyone. It could be shaped into a non-orbed shaped, but a orb isn't going to hurt anymore than a baseball unless it had great mass?
I welcome any guidance those smarter than me might have.
