Re: [ORE] Exalted Style Summoning

I have Grim War and while it does have a good focus on summoning supernaturals I'm trying to set this up with the normal Wild Talent Power Creation Rules instead of importing the system. Partially because GW doesn't seem designed to play nice with characters who have hyperdice in Command or Charm and partially because the separate xp for each summons feels wrong for the relevant fluff.

Most sorcery has already been covered by a modified Cosmic Power Miracle. I suppose re-fluffing Gadgetering as a summoning power could work. Maybe Psychic Artifacts.

You should really check out Grim War: it has all kinds of rules for summoning, binding, and generating demons/archons on the fly.

I'd probably just tinker around with something similar to Gadgeteering or other Variable style power.

Subject: [ORE] Exalted Style Summoning

I've been playing around with converting an old character from Exalted to Wild Talents. Most of it has been extremely straight forward (Since I'm not after the same level of granularity or perfect effects) but when it comes to converting the Summoning Spells I get stuck. First Circle Demons are pretty easy to do, just a ritual that summons minions and a control power for binding them. Except here I run into problems with how variable the demons are, how do I cook up a power that can summon creatures that fly or heal injuries without making each type of demon a distinct power?

This problem gets worse with the more powerful Second and Third Circle demons. It feels like Sidekick might be a good start but how do I build a spell that can call up both a shape shifting soul eating creature and a supernaturally gifted tracker depending on what my character wants at the time? I'm not wanting a ton of powerful demons around at one time but one or two unique ones that are occasionally replaced would be nice.
