Hey Kyle,

Put me on the maybe/follow up list for both events. I’ll probably have my six year old son with me so it’s hard to say how much time we’ll be able to help. He’ll help me teach a little though :)

Hello Go Players,

I am happy to announce that we will be returning to Sakura Con and Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival. This our bigger events and we need a lot of volunteers to make both of these event work as best we can. For Sakura Con, I am looking for around 10-20 volunteers to help manage the room throught the whole con (April 7th-April 9th). I also need 2-4 volunteers to help me with set up and take down. Volunteers will have to be willing to follow Sakura Con masking/vaccine policy (http://sakuracon.org/covid-19-safety/). Volunteers will be awared badges to the con.

For Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival, I am looking for around 5-7 Volunteers to manage our booth (April 14-16, 2023: 10am-6pm).  I would also like around 2~ volunteers to help for set up and take down.

If you like ot learn more about either event or like to sign up, Please email me back.

[Seattle Go Center] Annual Members Meeting -- Thank You!!

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who participated via proxy or in person.  As always it is great to see some folks we rarely see or haven't seen in years.  Sadly, "being on stage" and juggling logistics, I didn't get to chit chat or visit with some of you I'd been looking forward to seeing.  I apologize for any slighted feelings.  Still has some good visiting with some folks who hung around.

This year was one of the best meetings we've had in a long time with active participation and really good discussion.  We're taking follow up actions to change past practices, and in general we're looking for fresh outlooks and idea for creating more energy around SGC.

It was also exciting to be in the audience when reviewing all the programs and activities we did last year after 2020 and 2021 had almost nothing going on.  It feels like we're getting our gears in motion and hoping to see more folks at SGC and more fun events.

Cheers,
Bill

[Seattle Go Center] Please Return Unused Seattle Go Center Keys

If SGC gave you a key to the building in the past, please make arrangements to return the keys if you are no longer actively using them.  If you are not a current Day Manager and do not occasionally have a need for a key that we've discussed, we would very much like to reclaim some keys.  We are out of building keys and have to pay for special reproduction for security purposes.

Thanks very much!!
Bill

P.S.,
I apologize for the spamming email, but we do not have complete records for me to email individual who may have ksys.  Yes, we're fixing that too 🙂.
