[Seattle Go Center] Looking for Volunteers for upcoming Event (Shoreline Library Workshop)

Hey Go Players.

I am still looking for a few more volunteers (1-3) for our Shoreline Library Workshop (345 NE 175th Street Shoreline, WA) this Sunday on January 25, 3:30-5:30pm. This is another smaller event, though it's our first time trying it on a Sunday.

[Seattle Go Center] Seattle Go Center -- PLEASE HELP Funding

We were remiss in the fall and did not do our usual fund-raising request of folks.  SGC is short about $4,000 in 2025.  We really hope people are able to renew annual memberships or make donations at this time and hopefully make up the difference so that we do not operate with a deficit.  Two members renewed in DEC, so thank you!!

We had ~15 fewer annual memberships in 2025 (16 would equal the $4k deficit).  This is one of the best ways to help SGC financially because it demonstrates public support to maintain our 501c3 Public Charity status as well as giving you the feel-good benefits of being a voting member, knowing all your visits are fully paid for, and good karma for helping sustain SGC for all folks.  If $250 is too much, any donation amount at all adds up and helps us demonstrate public support to the IRS.

We also had half as many 10-punch visit card sales in 2025.  We do not police the door and who pays or who does not, but if you are making use of SGC, please pay the door fee  if you're not an annual or lifetime member because the door fee is also good money for demonstrating public support for our 501c3 Public Charity status.

If you can help SGC by buying an annual membership, making a donation, or buying 10-punch visit cards when you visit SGC, please help us recoup the $4,000 shortfall from 2025.

Thank you!!
Bill Chiles
