Re: [ORE] Godlike: inspiration needed

How about a Wild talent who thinks he's one of the Norse gods, or a Female
WT that thinks she's a Valkyrie. The mission is to convince the WT that the allies are the true defenders of Midgard or failing that to terminate the individuals. Of course the Ubermensch have a different idea.

Hmmm, what about capturing a talent that's producing heavy water for the Nazis (probably under great duress too)? AFAIK, heavy water production was pretty slow for the Germans... Maybe the talent's able to produce it in greater quantities than at Telemark...

The Allies both want to cut the supply off (kill or capture - deny to the enemy) and if possible, have them working to produce it for them...

Thanks Charles!

While it is early for an attack on the hydro dam that was producing heavy water (and that is quite inland - and the raid on it was not until 1943), perhaps there was a freighter with a load of heavy water destined for Germany's atomic research team, maybe protected by some UberMensch.  The assault is there to divert the strategic destruction (and perhaps capture) of said freighter and her cargo.  Not sure if geographical this is a reasonable route to transport the heavy water to Germany... .  I like the idea of disrupting the atomic program :)

Hello all,

I'm finally getting round to running a Godlike game for my players and
am a bit stuck for inspiration. My plan is to send in a team of three
British talents along on the 1942 operation archer raid to take out
German coastal.guns and a fish oil plant in Norway (I was inspired by
reading about Mad Jack Churchill - who famous carried.a.claymore and
English longbow during world war two and actually killed a German
soldier with abnormal arrow loosed from it during the Battle of France
in 1940).

The thing is, I want to give the talents their own side mission and
use the raid as a massive diversion tactic, but I've kind of run out
of inspirational steam and want to throw it open to the forum for
inspiration.

I had considered having them go after q Norwegian hyperbrain, perhaps
a Quisling, or maybe a loyal Norwegian with a talent which HM
Government don't want falling into Nazi hands.

I'd appreciate any input to get this moving.

Cheers,

Tom
