Hello everyone,
Attached is the flyer for the upcoming Day Go Camp from July 11th to July
15th. I'm excited to plan a whole weeks of study for students of various
strengths. Currently we do not have a need for counselors. However, in the
case that we do have a large number of kids sign up, I would be looking for
counselors who would get to attend the camp (as a student) while having the
added responsibility of counseling up to 8 kids. If you have any interest
in this (for this camp or any future camps) please send me an email.
Also attached is the application form for the Go Camp.
If you know of anybody under the age of 18 that would be interested in
attending, please forward this information to them and their
parents/guardians.
Last week, we spent a good solid hours looking at the Asian TV Cup final.
Oren Laskin found a review of the game by my good friend Ahn Young Gil, 8p.
(He was one of the two pros that took care of me and Mathew Burrall when we
visited Korea for 3 months.) You can find the review at

For those of you that attended the class. Look at Ahn's analysis of the
order of play around the attack on white's middle upper group. We
discussed the net that White found, but we did not think about changing the
order by black so that white would not be able to threaten black's lower
group.
Finally, tomorrow it is a day of problems, problems, problems. Come
prepared to do End game problems and tesujis galore!
