Dear Members,
The Go Club at Hamilton International Middle School (HIMS) is starting up next week after school on Wednesday, Oct. 5. If you know any students at HIMS, please encourage them to sign up with the after school program (HOST). Chris Kirschner will be the lead teacher there.
The John Stanford International School (JSIS) club will be meeting on Mondays after school, starting Oct. 3, with Lee Anne Bowie as teacher. JSIS is a public grade school.
The Kimball Elementary School club will be taught by Alex Chin. First class will be Tuesday, Oct. 18. Alex is now a senior at UW -- he learned Go at Kimball many years ago from Carter Kemp. Parents can sign up for the club through the after school program.
Now is the time to start planning for winter quarter Go clubs. If you want to start a Go club in a school, please contact me.
