Dear Go Players,
We have two pros visiting us soon. On next Saturday, October 29, Myung Wan Kim 9P will playing simultaneous games at 2:00 p.m. and giving a short lecture at 5 p.m. The suggested donation for playing a simultaneous game with Mr. Kim is $10, and there is a sign up sheet posted at the Go Center. 6 places are still available for the simul. The lecture is free. In addition to being a real nice guy, Myung Wan has the highest AGA rating of anyone: 10.247 (that's plus 10.247).
This same Saturday, Oct. 29, the Korean club will be at the Go Center. So strong players should be able to find good games all day. We will also have a volunteer available to teach beginning players.
The next weekend, Nov. 5&6, we are looking forward to our first workshop with Japanese pro Sasaki Tadashi 8P. He comes highly recommended by Jon Boley. For more information, and to sign-up on line, please follow this link:
