I'm creating a Focus for a player. I figure I'd give him a rifle with
various firing modes I'd build as Augment powers. I've read over the
Augment power and saw that that wouldn't be possible as Augment
demands that either no extras and flaws are used or the lowest
dicepool is rolled.
When I turned to see the rifle example on page 139 for guidance I
realized something strange. The attached power only has the Augment
rating and a bunch of flaws and it implies that it provides spray dice
for the Rifle. But the way it's built (having the Attached flaw) means
you can only use 4d+1wd to attack when using it? But you can't since
it's Attached, meaning you'd have to either fire it off on the next
round after firing a single shot with the base rifle focus, or taking
a penalty die on the 4d+1wd and using that on its own with an extra A
+2.
The only explanation given in the flavor text is that it provides a
Spray rating.
So is this just a fiat to make the power work a certain way?
I want to replicate this for my player but the bits and pieces this is
made of don't seem to work as advertised.
