Dear Go Players,
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Chizu Kobayashi 5P from the Nihon Ki-in will be visiting Seattle on Monday and Tuesday.
We have two events scheduled for members on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Seattle Go Center:
3:00 p.m. Simultaneous Games with Chizu Kobayashi. A sign-up list will be posted at the Go Center on Saturday, Jan. 21, weather permitting. ($10 donation)
7:30 p.m. Go Lecture by Ms. Kobayashi. Her pro career includes three-peat of the Japan Ladies Go Championship, 3-Times Kakusei Champion, receiver of several Kido-awards, and over 300 wins in tournaments. She is also respected for her lectures and newspaper columns on Go. The lecture is free.
