Hi Go Players-

For tomorrow's beginner-10 kyu class I have prepared two separate lectures.  The first is a general discussion about the "heaviness" and "lightness" of groups of stones on the board and is aimed more at beginners.  The 2nd lecture will be aimed at intermediate players and analyze our first professional game together.  The game will be from the 1952 Japanese Honinbo tournament between Sakata Eio and Takagawa Kaku (I have also attached an .sgf file containing the first 150 moves or so).  I will invite all attendees to watch at least one of the lectures, but you may attend both.

See you all there!
