Dear Go Players,
We had a great participation for our Sakura Con Outreach. Over 15 members helped out, and people were playing Go from 10 a.m. to midnight on both Friday and Saturday. On Sunday we had a 13x13 tournament with 9 participants.
This weekend, we will be at Cherry Blossom Festival for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 13-15. This is at Seattle Center, in the "Center House" which is close to the Space Needle. This building has a food court on the first floor. We will be at the conference rooms on the mezzanine level, near the north end of the building.
We need volunteers on all three days, starting at 10:00. We will be teaching Capture Go to little kids, and playing teaching games with older players. Our hours will 10 -4 Friday, 10 - 6 Saturday, 10 - 6 Sunday. We will also be teaching school classes at 11:00 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, April 13, and could use some assistant teachers. MORE EVENTS AT THE SAME LOCATION!
The AGA Cherry Blossom Tournament is Saturday April 14, with registration from 9:15 to 9:45. No entry fee, AGA membership required, a total of $200 in prizes.
And the Children's Tournament (very kid friendly - prizes for all) will be on Sunday, at 1:00 p.m.
