Dear Members,
Because we are hosting a major tournament this weekend, we will not be giving lessons on Saturday and Sunday, nor will loud conversation be permitted. Quiet non-tournament games are fine.
Please note that we only have 5 parking spaces in the daytime on Saturday, so if you can walk or come by public transportation, that would be greatly appreciated. There is paid parking across the street (on the south side of 45th), but you have to wait for 3 crosswalks to get back to the Go Center. There is also parking near the Metro Theatre, two blocks east. After 5 p.m. on Saturday, and all day Sunday, we have the whole parking lot.
If you are a dan level player, you can still register for the AGA - Tygem Pro Prelim Tournament on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. sharp. The A section is for players who want to compete for the AGA pro position; the B section is for players just competing for some of the cash prizes. More information here:
