Just coping & pasting from Wikipedia: "An Avatar is a person that channels an "Archetype", a powerful and universal role in culture. Examples include the mystic hermaphrodite, the hunter, and the demagogue". In UA you have "channels" which allow you to do "supernatural" things. You have points in the Avatar skill and, the more points you have, the more channels. If you life according to your avatar you gain points, if you break some "taboo" you lost points. I have no idea how can you apply the same concept to WildTalents but I think may not be a rules problem just implementation. Agreeing with the player in a meta or para rules way.
