Re: [ORE] Godlike: Soviet and Japanese artillery

If you don't get a response and can wait a couple of days, I think I have some of this at home, particularly on the Japanese side.

WW2 scholars out there, I have what seems like a pretty basic question but I'm unable to get an answer on Google and don't have time to comb libraries.

Very roughly speaking, how did Japanese and Soviet artillery planning and fire control compare to British, German, and US methods? Did they follow the British model that favored speed over accuracy, or the German model that calculated things very carefully but took longer to resolve?

I know I'm simplifying things atrociously there, but this is for a pretty small game rule so I think it's excusable.

Specifically I need to add Japanese and Soviet lines to the "Forward Observer" response time and artillery difficulty table found in TOC Bulletin 2.
