[Seattle Go Center] Hello from Bellingham! and Chihyung Nam visits

Hello everyone,

The move to Bellingham has been successful. Lack of internet at the beginning was rather a pain, but we are getting into the flow of things up here.  My first two conversations in Bellingham involved Weiqi and Baduk!  My next door neighbor is originally from China and the family that lives two houses away are:

• The seller's agent for our house transaction
• The mother is from Korea
• Her father was in town and plays Baduk every day

So we played Baduk :)

--------------- Chihyung Nam  Visits

Chihyung Nam will visit the Seattle area before and after going to the US Go Congress.  Please note that her English is extremely good and I'm able to have detailed conversations with her on the Phone.

Help we need (if you are interested in any of these please email of call me):

She arrives here on the 24th and I'm looking for someone to pick her up at Seatac around 1:00 PM.

Her husband arrives on the 25th and will also need to be picked up.  I'm unsure of his English but I think it's best to take Chihyung with you to the airport to pick him up.  I will have more exact information about his travel plans asap.

Chihyung departs for the Go Congress on the 2nd and will need a ride to the Airport on that day.

Her husband departs for Seoul on the 3rd and will need both a place to stay Friday night (Lee Anne will be headed to the Go Congress) and a ride to the Airport.

Chihyung and her husband love to hike, we are looking for people to take them hiking in the Seattle area.  If you have a day free during their visit and would like to take them to your favorite place, contact us.

Chihyung has also expressed interest in hiking Mt. Rainier.  This is a bit out of the way, but if this appeals to you, she would be very happy for the experience.

We will be scheduling Go Events with Chihyung on the 31st at the Go Center and 28th during the afternoon.  On other days, if you would like to take them shopping, to lunch, to dinner, etc.  this would be great for Lee Anne.

I'm sorry there is so much that needs to be done, but I, unfortunately, am unable to provide much assistance from Bellingham.  I hope you can help make this a special trip for Chihyung and her husband.  She has been to several Go Congresses and is a wonderful person to spend time with.
