Re: [ORE] Using magic in 'Grim War'

Hi.

I'd say that the names are more like "categories" of spirits with more or less the same characteristics. On the other hand, if you know the true name of a spirit then you really are calling that one so no other one could summon it. That's my view.

By the way, Shane, what about Sister Raven bound into some of fetish, and so bound. What are the mechanics for that? You need to use a spell with the "Access" propety, don't you?

Thanks again and please, could you develop some more material for Grim Wars? It is such an interesting setting!!

Fidel Santiago.

Thanks for the example. To follow up, how unique are spirits? If Nicks has Sister Raven bound to service for a week, can any other sorcerer summon her? The book implies that's how it works, but IIRC doesn't explicitly state as much.

Grim War is a Wild Talents roleplaying game setting of superpowered mutants vying with factions of sorcerers who summon dire, powerful spirits to do their bidding. Players can take either role, mutant or magician, and most games feature both.

Fidel Santiago asked for some examples of how sorcerers work in Grim War, specifically how their abilities function in play. My pleasure.
