[Seattle Go Center] Thursday Beginner's classes start up April 4, 2013

Dear Members,

We have expanded our Thursday evening programming.  Starting April, we will be offering both “Real Beginners 1”, a 7 week free class, and “Real Beginners 2”, a 7 week continuation.  Both classes will meet at 7:00 p.m., and be a mixture of lectures and practice games.

Jon Friedman will be teaching “Real Beginners 1”.  Many of you know him from Tuesday nights at the Go Center, or from the Yang Workshop.  Here is a quick description of the class:

Frank Lam will teach “Real Beginners 2”, continuing with many of his students from the previous “Real Beginners” class.  Here is a link to their Go page:

[Disambiguation: Jon Friedman pronounces his first name “John”; and John Richards, the Tuesday instructor who is often teaching kids, also goes by “John”; while Jon Boley, our Sunday instructor, pronounces his first name “Yon”.]

Both Thursday classes are free.  Once students have used up their first (free) ten visit card, they need to pay for their visits to the Go Center, or pay for a voting membership (quarterly, yearly or lifetime).  Students planning to take the Thursday classes should send an email to confirm that they are coming to the instructor, or to me at manager@seattlego.org

Cheers,

Brian
