[Seattle Go Center] Two Tournaments on Sunday, May 5

Dear Members,

The Seattle Top Go Players’ Tournament and the Monthly Ratings Tournament will both be held this Sunday, May 5. 

The Top Players’ Tournament is starting a new round robin competition, which will be held on May 5, June 2, and July 7.  The winner of the last competition, Ho Son, is now rated as an 8D for these games, so he will have to give more reverse komi to the other players. Those games start at 12:00 noon. 

The Monthly Ratings Tournament registration is from 12:15 – 12:45.  Most of the players in this free tournament will probably be kyu players at all levels above beginner.  If you are taking Nick’s Monday class, this tournament would be a good way to start playing some rated games.
