Dear Go Players,
We have been invited to teach and share the game of Go at the Bon Odori Festival, which is happening this weekend at the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Church. The church is close to the intersection of South Jackson Street and Rainier Ave S, near the International District. We will be indoors in the activity hall.

We need volunteers to teach from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday. We expect to have enough helpers that you will also have time to visit the rest of the festival. There will be Japanese folk dancing on South Main Street, and good food for sale.
From the Church website: “Bon Odori celebrates and honors the lives of deceased family and friends. We consider this a happy time as we remember the contributions of those who came before us with a deep sense of gratitude and thanksgiving.”
