Dear Go Players,
In addition to Nick's Class tonight, Monday, Haskell Small 3d from Washington D.C. will be visiting the Go Center, probably around 8:00 p.m. Hal is hoping to play a few games with other dan level players, and to visit with friends. Among many other accomplishments, Hal organized the first U.S. Go Congress in 1985.
Tuesday night, at 7:30, Hal will be giving a free piano concert at St. Paul's Episcopal Church near Seattle Center. The theme will be "music that is primarily quiet, spacious and of a mystical nature." Here is a Seattle Times article on the concert:

This Tuesday Night at the Go Center may be especially boisterous with the Tsumego Competition for ice cream, organized by Frank Lam. If you are looking for a quieter evening, I highly recommend Hal's concert.
Cheers,
Brian
