Dear Go Players,
Six friends of Jin Chen are visiting Seattle this week. They have come for the Sunday tournament, but they will also be at the Go Center on Thursday and Saturday. They are being guided by Shan Chen (who also goes by Koralo), Jin Chen’s father. They are eager to play to local folks.
One of the travelers is the professional Yao, Xiaomin 4P, who was a colleague of our teachers Yang, Yilun and Guo, Juan when they lived in China. The other players are all dan level amateurs. Ms. Yao is willing to play teaching games, and is famous in China as a teacher.
I am not sure of their exact hours, but expect that they will be at the Go Center most of both days: Thursday 2-9 p.m., and Saturday 1-7 p.m. So come by if you can. This a great opportunity to make some new friends.
