Subject: [Seattle Go Center] Looking Ahead - Major Events

Dear Go Players,

 

In addition to our regular weekly schedule, we have these special events scheduled for the Seattle Go Center.  Please mark your calendars!  For more information, please look at our Events Calendar at http://www.seattlego.org/events/.  If you click on an event, it will give you the details.

 

July 19-20 (this Sat- Sun): Bon Odori Outreach, at the Seattle Buddhist Temple, 1427 S. Main St., Seattle 98144, late afternoon and evenings.

 

August 5 (Tues): Simultaneous games at the Go Center with pros from the Kansai Ki-in, Japan.

 

August 6 (Wed): Lecture by Myaeda Ryo 6P from the Kansai Ki-in, 7:00 p.m. ($10 general, $5 students and voting members)

 

Sept 13 (Sat): Anniversary Party 6-10 p.m., with concert by "Silk Strings" at 8.

 

Oct 5 (Sun): Anniversary Tournament 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Nov 8-9 (Sat-Sun) Workshop with a pro from the Nihon Ki-in, Japan.
