Fw: [Seattle Go Center] Correction - Sunday is March 22!

Dear Members,

 

Our one hour annual meeting is coming up this Sunday, March 22 at 2 PM.  If you are a voting member of the Seattle Go Center, and you are not coming, please arrange for a voting member who is coming to vote your proxy.  (An agreement by email is sufficient.)  We need to meet the quorum requirements of our bylaws.

 

The annual meeting will feature a short slide show of recent Go Center events, plus some images from our opening in 1995 with Iwamoto Sensei.  We will have reports on the activities and budget of the Go Center, and the election of three people to the Board of Directors, which has 9 members total.  All three of our current Board Members with terms finishing are willing to serve again, but we are open to new nominations as well.  The three up for re-election are: Chris Kirschner, Oren Laskin and Michael Cho.  We are also happy to know about people interested in joining the Board next year, in 2016.

 

There will be a Board Meeting following the annual meeting at 3:00 p.m.  The rest of you can play Go!
