-- Tomorrow's Double-Digit Kyu class will be a workshop all about ladders. We will look at a series of problems and ask ourselves a seemingly simple question, "Does the ladder here work?" Several problems will require that you read several dozen moves ahead to determine the outcome (though, since most of the moves are 100% forced, this isn't as difficult as it sounds).
Ladders are an integral part of playing a competitive game of go. Knowing a given ladder's status during actual play will give you much better insights into shape, ladder-breakers, and strategies. I hope to see you there!
