Re: [ORE] A Question About Power Qualities

Our group discussed the Mutable intrinsic and how limiting we wanted it to be.  What we decided was that it effectively allowed any to power to be added to a character but that it would not be required if the new power could be justified as a new application of the character's existing powers.

We like the archetypes, but we've played too much champions and aberrant to really like not ever being able to add new powers unless you bought a expensive intrinsic when you originally built your character.

As with most things in WT it's supposed to be kind of a judgment call. Mechanically, each power quality acts like a separate power. But maybe it's a close enough fit to work. Like if your power was "Shape Fire" and just Useful, then adding an Attacks quality for being able to focus it harmfully doesn't sound like a stretch.

A simple question really. Once the game starts you can't add new powers without the Mutable intrinsic, but can you add new power qualities to an existing Miracle? Like adding an Attacks quality to what was just a Useful Miracle.
