Re: [ORE]BLEEDING OUT?

I put bleeding rules in This Favored Land.
  • Any would that does 3 or more points of Killing damage bleeds. For blunt trauma you can assume internal bleeding.
  • Bullet and stab wounds bleed for 1 point of Shock to the torso per combat round. This is regardless of where the wound applies (the Shock to the torso represents systemic damage due to bleeding).
  • Slashing damage bleeds for 1 point of Shock to the torso every two combat rounds.
  • Area effect damage and blunt force damage bleed for 1 point of Shock to the torso every minute.
  • The bleeding continues until the torso eventually fills with Killing damage, at which point the character dies, as normal. (Of course, if a character's torso fills with Shock damage, they pass out.)
  • A successful First Aid or Medicine roll stops the bleeding. If a First Aid or Medicine roll was unable to stop the bleeding, it can be attempted again, but add 1 to the Difficulty. Every failed roll results in adding 1 to the Difficulty.
Using those rules, assuming the throwing knife did 6 points of Killing damage to the torso and assuming no one tried to treat the target, the target would pass out from blood loss in four combat rounds and die in eight combat rounds.

So any idea's on what happens when a throwing knife thrown hard hits torso for 6 damage? The guy felt for all the effort of training and lobbing that knife into the guys gut or chest for 60% close to death wasn't gratifying enough. Any ideas or mods for spilling guts, loss of ability cause yeah there's a knife hilt deep in my chest, bleeding out over a few rounds, knicked lung giving us a wheeze that makes it hard to exert your self and easy to hear coming. All idea's welcome.
