Dear Go Center Members,
As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, Kuma – Sensei 6P from the Nihon Ki-in will be giving lectures and playing simultaneous games. Many of you met Kuma during his visit to the Go Center last November. To add to the excitement, all of these events will be free, even though Kuma is a visiting pro.
The teaching schedule is as follows:
Sunday, Oct. 4, 2:00 p.m: Game reviews (bring your games from the Saturday tournament)
Sunday, Oct. 5, 4:30 p.m: Simultaneous games with Kuma – Sensei
Monday, Oct. 6, 6:30 p.m: Lecture for Nick Sibicky’s double digit kyu class.
Tuesday, Oct. 7, 6:30 p.m: Simultaneous games with Kuma
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 7:00 p.m: Lecture for Andrew Jackson’s single digit kyu class.
