Dear Members,
Tonight Kuma Sensei 6P from the Nihon Ki-in will be playing simultaneous games at 6:30. He does a short review at the end of each game. We still have some space available. Send me an email if you want to be added to the list. manager@seattlego.org As part of our 20th Anniversary celebration, there is no charge for these games.
Over 100 people came to our Anniversary Party on Saturday, but we still have some leftover food to share. We have Korean barbeque: beef bulgogi and pork bulgogi, rice and side dishes, and some vegetarian Mediterranean dishes.
We also have a guest from the European Go Cultural Centre in Holland. He is Harry van der Krogt, and he is a 2 dan amateur in the European Go Ratings system, which is tougher than our AGA rating system. The European Go Cultural Centre is another one of the Iwamoto Centers, made possible by a gift from Kaoru Iwamoto 9 Dan. Harry is the Manager, and he is also a photographer. Welcome Harry!
