[Seattle Go Center] Homework update for SDK class!

Hey all!

If you missed last night's class, we had a review session and gave out the upcoming weeks' problems: Here are this week's problems (week 5).

If you're following along at home, this file is the test/review of all the life & death problems from weeks 1-4, with the colors flipped and rotations applied, plus a few new ones.  For the full experience, i strongly suggest you print 'em out, take an hour and a half, and see how many you can get through!

However, if you haven't done the first four weeks of problems, it won't be much of a review, right? :)  So do them first, and use this as a way to do some spaced repetition.

Two more points:
 - Despite the fact that we have a review, i don't advise anyone memorize the problems.  The point is to maintain your familiarity with the techniques and speed up your reading, not to memorize potentially unrealistic problems!  If you really want to memorize something, memorize Haylee's top 10 life and death shapes.
 - There are two kinds of problems to do: easy problems done in high numbers, and hard problems done in low volume.  The ones i'm giving in class are the hard, low-volume ones.  The easy ones -- like the graded go problems for beginners or the elementary life & death set here -- you should do lots of those, and it wouldn't be possible for me to keep up with demand ;)  So if these problems seem hard, don't despair!  They're supposed to be :)

By the way... i imagine a dan player would be able to finish all 110 problems in under an hour.  They  took me 15 minutes.

You can do it!  I believe in you!

your cruel taskmaster,
-andrew
