[Seattle Go Center] Anniversary Tournament Results

Dear Members,

Our 21st Anniversary Tournament gathered 21 players in the Handicapped Section, and 4 in the Open Section.  New
member Yue Zhang 7d AGA won the open section.  He is a paleontologist doing a post doc at the University of
Washington. Alex (Xinlei) Liu placed second in his first AGA tournament.  He is a student living in Bellevue.  Solomon
Choe and Zhihong Yao also played in the Open Section.  After his last game, Solomon reported that he "is never going to
play the large avalanche again."

In the Handicapped Sections, Eric Feiveson won the top band, with Chris Cameron placing second.  Brendan Roof won
the 4k to 6k band, with Sandy Kline taking second.  In the lower band, John Johnson took first place, with Lusha Zhou
taking second. John Johnson was the only player in the Handicapped Sections to win all three of his games.

The Anniversary Party will be a potluck dinner on Tuesday, October 11, with food served at 6:00 p.m.
