[Seattle Go Center] SDK study group this Wednesday

Hey folks,

I will be hosting a series of SDK-level study groups this winter, the first of which will be this Wednesday at 6:30p. These study groups will be every other Wednesday, when Drew is not teaching class. For these study groups, we will focus on a different topic each week and discuss some relevant problems and positions during class. Afterwards, there will be a chance to play some games against other players of similar strength.

For the first couple of meetings, I would like to explore followups to common shimaris and the effects of surrounding enemy stones on a corner previously considered "safe."

Since this is a new format, I am open to experimentation. Please come and share your ideas. And play some go, of course!
