Hello Go people,
The Go Center is open as usual tomorrow (Saturday), 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Come on in for some casual games of Go! Instruction for beginners will be available.
Also, tomorrow (and every 3rd Saturday, going forward) there will be a group of people interested in Shogi, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM! It's organized by Brandon Barton and Catherine Ozols, and instruction for beginners will be available.
See you at the Go Center,
Mike Malveaux

PS - What three English language books did Iwamoto-sensei (whose foundation helped build the Go Center) write?
Go for Beginners [Berkeley : Ishi Press, 1976]
Keshi and Uchikomi: A Study of Reduction and Invasion in Go [Richmond, VA : Slate & Shell, 2002]
The 1971 Honinbo Tournament [Tokyo : Ishi Press, 1972 ; Santa Monica : Kiseido Pub. Co., 1999]
(When I'm running low on Go jokes, I'll try Go trivia :-)
