[Seattle Go Center] Correction - Nick Sibicky returns 9-23; Drew teaches Go Basics 9-9 & 9-16

Hello fellow Go enthusiasts,

I apologize for misinforming everyone about our schedule next week.
Nick Sibicky's famous "Double-Digit Kyu" class will resume Monday,
September 23, at 6:30 PM (not September 9).  Schedule self-atari!  Oops.

Drew Barnett will be teaching "Go Basics"(or, "What to Learn After
You've Learned the Rules") for two more Mondays -- September 9 and
September 16, 6:30-8:30 PM.  The Go Center will also be open for casual
play at those times.

In other news, attendance is remaining high -- 19 players at the ratings
tournament on Sunday, and 30 at "the largest weekly gathering of Go
players in North America (possibly the Western Hemisphere)™" yesterday!
But we didn't get any new members yesterday, so next time, go ahead and
bring your friend or colleague who's secretly always wanted to learn to
play Go, but was afraid to ask.

See you soon at the Go Center,

PS - As a new player, I found some Go jargon quite confusing.  The
real-world analogies seemed profoundly paradoxical.  How could Black's
shapes be "thin" and simultaneously "heavy", while White's usually were
"thick" yet "light"?

Flagrantly recycling previous jokes (since I don't have new material,
yet we have new players who probably haven't heard these yet -- and if
you have heard them already, feel free to monkey-jump):

How many Black players does it take to change a bulb?
(They can't -- too heavy to climb the ladder.)

How many White players does it take to change a bulb?
(They don't need to -- they're already light.)
