[Seattle Go Center] Open Sat. but no Shogi leader; parking lot flooded; etc.

Hello fellow Go fans,

Just quickly -- the Go Center is open tomorrow (Saturday Dec. 21), 1pm-8pm. However, Brandon won't be there to run the Shogi meetup, due to flooding on the East Side.

Speaking of flooding -- the Go Center lower parking lot is covered by several inches of water. Brian is taking steps to fix the situation, but meanwhile, if you're coming to the Go Center, I strongly recommend wearing your rain boots. (Or at least, *not* wearing your most expensive suede shoes.)

I have other things I need to announce (New Year's Eve at the Go Center; Jin Chen tournament on Sunday Jan. 5; "Programming Computer Go" moving to Saturdays), but I'll have to do that tomorrow, because right now I'm due at a Holiday Pageant.

See you soon at the Go Center,

Mike Malveaux
