[Seattle Go Center] Pandanet AGA City League - new Seattle Go team forming

Hello, fellow Go enthusiasts + families,

One of our players, Alan, is interested in forming a new Seattle-area team for the Pandanet AGA City League.  "What is City League?" you might be asking.  "A lot of fun!" is the answer.

Each team has three primary players and up to two alternate players.  The tournament is a single round robin.  The full rules are here:
https://pandanet-igs.com/communities/agacityleague/287

Seattle's teams have done well in City League in the past.  Here's what Sonny Cho told me--

Season 2018-2019, Seattle 1 finished 3rd at the B League and the team donated $400 to the Go Center -- prize money plus a matching grant.

2019-2020, Seattle 1 finished 4th at the B League and Seattle 2 won the D League. Seattle 2 will move up to the C League this new season.

Seattle 3 (youth team) probably will start at the D League for the season 2020-2021. With the fourth team Seattle will be the first city to have 4 teams. We're very active!! (Vancouver has 3 teams).

Alan is looking for team members in the 2k-2d range.  Please contact him at scythe1798@gmail.com if you or someone you know is interested in being on the new team.

Registration is open until November 15.  AGA E-Journal story on City League:  https://www.usgo.org/news/2020/10/pandanet-aga-city-league-year-9-registration-begins/

Stay safe out there,
