Maybe it says more about me, but I actually had to dig through WT2E to see where it suggests 250 points. The book spends an entire page saying that point totals will vary, then throws away the suggestion in a single sentence just before the Power Levels table.
So, anyway, you're not wrong. I just feel that 250 points wouldn't be enough to do these archetypes justice.
