Hey folks, SDK is back starting this wednesday!
-- Tomorrow marks the start of a several week series on "evaluation", or how to think about evaluating board positions. We'll talk about what that means, how humans do it, how AlphaGo does it, and what that might mean for us.
The homework is to find one of your games where, upon showing the game to a stronger player, your opinion and their opinion differed. For example, if you were showing a game to your dan-level friend and you said "i really like white here!" and they said "oh? I like black..."
We'll also get a look at a 3-4 joseki variation that depends on a ladder that Heath will show :)
