[Seattle Go Center] SDK tomorrow: How to (not) play against the carpenter’s square

Hey folks,

Let's get together tomorrow to talk about the carpenter's square, one of the more complex corner shapes that frequently occurs in games. Is it dead/ko/alive? How many different ways can you kill it? (hint: there are several ways to start a ko). What if there are outside liberties? What if there are missing pieces?

We'll start with some basic positions and problems. This might turn into a two part series covering all the variations and situational moves.

Afterwards, there will be time for quick games.
