Good morning fellow Go enthusiasts,
If you'd like to play Go, but you can't seem to make it to the Go Center, try stopping in at:
Zoka Coffee, 2200 N. 56th St., Seattle 98103 -- Mondays and Fridays, 9:00 AM - 12 noon; or
Hurry Curry, 825 Harrison St., Seattle 98109 -- Mondays 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Meanwhile, back at the Go Center:
Today is Nick Sibicky's last "Double Digit Kyu" class before he goes on summer vacation, so be at the Center 6:30 -
8:30. Nick will talk about Cho Hun-hyun, who was Korea's first 9-dan pro. It's gonna be awesome!
Tomorrow, come to the Go Center for fresh bread and "the largest weekly gathering of Go players in North America"!
Hmm, actually, we probably can say "Western Hemisphere". Iwamoto-sensei built a Go Center in Sao Paulo. Does
anyone know whether they hold weekly meetings?
Hope to see you at the Go Center,
Mike Malveaux

PS - Why should Go players avoid underwear, and "go commando"?
(There's death in the Hanes! They wrap around.)
Ouch. Thanks, Ned!
