[Seattle Go Center] Pi Night (observed Mar. 12) - teach Go, eat pie

Hello, fellow Go enthusiasts!

For some time, we have been teaching our great game at Salmon Bay Elementary School's annual "Pi Night", which usually is March 14 (like, "3.14" -- get it?).  But this year, 3.14 is a Saturday, so Salmon Bay is holding their event on March 12.  It's fun teaching the kids to play Go, and they bring several pies, of which you may partake.  (And you can even use the "slicing a pie" metaphor to describe dividing the board into territories when teaching.)

I won't be there, so one of our vivacious volunteers should be willing and able to transport a bag of Go equipment -- 5 or 6 9x9 sets, plus some brochures and "Way To Go" booklets.

Thursday, March 12th
6:30 – 8:00 pm
Salmon Bay School Auditorium
1810 NW 65th St, Seattle, WA 98117

Please email Mike at programs@SeattleGo.org to help out.

See you soon at the Go Center,
