If you know a family that has a child at McDonald International Elementary School, the Seattle public school, please remind them that they have Go club there! We meet on Thursdays after school, from 2:35 – 4:05. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. this Sunday, September 15, on the 6Crickets website. More info here:

Peter Kron and I will be teaching this club; we welcome additional volunteers to help out. (Contact me if you are interested.) The club is open for grades 1-5, and beginners are welcome. We start with the capture game on small boards. By the middle of the session, most of the students are playing on 13x13 boards. We also have free “Level Up” workbooks for the kids, which have been surprisingly popular. There is a playground break in the middle of the 90 minute club time, which is also very popular. This will be the 6th year for the McDonald club.
